Borsa İstanbul Organizes a Training Seminar for Investment Institutions

Borsa İstanbul Audit and Surveillance Board organized a seminar covering the secondary legislation issued following the enactment of the Capital Markets Law no. 6362. The Seminar attracted great attention.

Borsa İstanbul Audit and Surveillance Board organized a seminar entitled “Investment Institutions in the Light of the New Capital Markets Arrangements” on December 22, 2014. The Seminar covered the secondary legislation issued following the enactment of the Capital Markets Law no. 6362, and which is material for investment institutions.

Principles of establishment and operation of investment institutions, investment services and activities as well as side services, capital markets crimes, manipulative acts, other actions requiring administrative fines, measures and the authorities and responsibilities of Borsa İstanbul were covered at the Seminar. Investment institutions showed great interest in the Seminar.

Borsa İstanbul Audit and Surveillance Board is planning to organize a similar training seminar in 2015.
