A panel entitled “Dynamics of Board of Directors” was hosted by Borsa İstanbul in cooperation with Odgers Berndtson and Corporate Governance Association of Turkey at Borsa İstanbul Conference Hall on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

The panel, chaired by Vatan newspaper columnist Ali Ağaoğlu discussed the positive dynamics of the operation of boards of directors, good corporate governance practices, know-how and critical experience of the members of the board/executive members, and the roles in which they create value.

Organized for the fourth time this year, the panel “Dynamics of Board of Directors” was participated by Borsa İstanbul CEO Tuncay Dinç, Borusan Holding Executive Director and CEO Agah Uğur, Erdemir Group Chairman Ali Pandır, Sabancı Holding Energy Group Chairman Mehmet Göçmen and Odgers Berndtson Turkey Executive Partner Ayşe Öztuna Bozoklar.

The panelists stated that, as proven by global studies, the new generation boards of directors and executive boards play a significant role in leading the sustainable success of companies as well as maintaining the strong role of the Turkish economy despite the competitive pressure from the international markets and difficulties.
