In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Enerya Enerji at our Exchange.

With its extensive service network, Enerya Enerji has been operating in the field of natural gas distribution for many years by contributing to the growth of our country. Thanks to the IPO proceeds, the company will now make new investments and further expand its distribution area.

Companies operating in the energy industry have come to the forefront with the IPOs launched in recent years. Energy companies increase their capacity, make investments and expand their operations with the financing they gain through the capital markets. 

Thus, an investment in energy companies is an investment in Türkiye. Financing the growth of energy companies is financing the growth of Türkiye. As Türkiye grows, it will need more energy and the more we invest in energy, the more growth potential Türkiye will have.
