By the decision of the Council of Ministers no. 2016/9154 dated September 7, 2016, which went into force after being published in the Official Gazette no. 29825 dated September 8, 2016, the daylight saving practice will continue during the whole year.

As a result of our evaluation of the said decision, and in consideration of the results of the survey conducted among Borsa İstanbul members, Borsa İstanbul resolved in its meeting no. 30 dated October 27, 2016 as follows:

1. On the Equity Market, on both full and half days, the trading session shall start at 09:40 with order collection. Following the end of the order collection phase at 09:55, continuous auction shall start at 10:00. For half working days, there will not be any changes at the end of the day. On full business days, on the other hand, at the end of the day, continuous auction shall be extended from 17:30 to 18:00. Closing and trades at single price will be realized between 18:00 and 18:10, ending the trading session at 18:10.
2. On the Derivatives Market (VIOP), the trading session shall start at 09:30 on full working days and end at 18:10 for single stock futures and options contracts, and at 18:15 for the others.
3. On the Debt Securities Market, the trading session shall start at 09:30 and end at 17:30 on full working days. On the Equity Repo Market, the trading session will start at 10:00 on full working days.
