Kimpur listed on Borsa İstanbul with the Opening Bell Ceremony held on April 28, 2022. Shares offered to the public started to be traded in the BIST STARS with the ticker code “KMPUR”.

In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of Kimpur at our Exchange.

The chemical industry is one of the significant sectors that provides employment and foreign exchange inflow to our country. Operating in the chemical industry, Kimpur exports to more than 45 countries, provides foreign currency inflows, and invests in R&D. We are more than glad to see companies that contribute to our economy, such as Kimpur at our Stock Exchange

Besides IPOs, we support our companies in various ways. In particular, we have futures and options contracts that we offer to our export and import companies. Thanks to the “USDTRY Futures and Options contracts with physical delivery” that we launched last year, companies can hedge their currency risk more easily. At maturity, the currency is physically delivered. We maintain our efforts on financial products to facilitate the operations of our companies.
