Borsa İstanbul held a briefing meeting at Boğaziçi University Uçak Savar Campus Ayhan Şahenk Hall on March 9, 2015 in order to inform Borsa İstanbul members, data vendors, and software companies about the Common Trading Platform developed in cooperation with NASDAQ, the changes planned in the operation rules of the Equity Market, and the differences between the two systems. At the meeting, executives and practitioners were informed on the current stage of the project, the schedule for the forthcoming period, and the operation rules to be modified. 

Within the framework of the efforts carried out as part of the strategic partnership agreement signed between Borsa İstanbul and NASDAQ on January 20, 2014, all of Borsa İstanbul markets are planned to serve from a single trading platform.

Towards this purpose, at the first phase, the Equity Market will start operating on the trading platform called BISTECH developed on NASDAQ’s Genium INET system. Upon this transfer, certain new applications will become operational and some others will cease.
