Ak Investment becomes market maker for BIST 30 Index Options Contracts after being market maker for single stock futures in July. Addition of Ak Investment increased the number of market makers for BIST 30 Index Options Contracts on Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) to 2.

The effects of the new innovative market making program initiated in January 2015 in order to improve the market efficiency and liquidity is being highlighted more clearly by the trade volumes and market depth of VIOP day by day. Thanks to consistent presence of market makers and their continuous bid/ask quotations, liquidity and effective prices are ensured for investors at all times.

Inclusion of Ak Investment in VIOP’s new revenue sharing based market making program is a crucial step towards provision of further liquidity and market depth in VIOP’s BIST 30 Index Options Contracts.
