Within the scope of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. Board of Directors’ decision dated 9/27/2019 and numbered 2019/182, and Capital Markets Board’s (CMB) decision dated 9/19/2019 and numbered 52; equities that are being traded in the Equity Market’s BIST Stars and BIST Main submarkets are rearranged into groups according to new criteria and different trading principles have been applied to the shares in different submarkets from 11/04/2019.

Within this framework, in order to determine the sub markets in which shares will be traded in the coming period, evaluation was made using the data between 01/03/2019 – 28/02/2020, pursuant to “Evaluation is made at least twice a year in line with the index periods using the last one-year average of the data determined for each criteria.” provision of the Equity Market Procedure. According to the results of this evaluation, the new market and sub market distribution of all shares, which will be effective as of 01/04/2020, is given in Appendix-1 and the list of differences showing the old and new markets / sub markets of the shares is given in Appendix-2.

As announced in the Announcement dated 10/28/2019 and numbered 2019/68; “Additional List to be Used for Forming the BIST 100 Index Constituents”, that is created in the event of number of shares in the BIST Stars market is less than 108, by choosing shares among the ones that fulfill all the criteria of BIST Stars except the market cap criterion and adding them to the list until the number reaches 108, is also presented in Appendix-2.
