Following the merger of Turkish Derivatives Exchange (TURKDEX) operating in İzmir and Borsa İstanbul Futures & Options Market (VİOP) trading platforms, the first trading day was completed with a traded value of TRY 640,555,000.

The merger of Turkish Derivatives Exchange (TURKDEX) and Borsa İstanbul Futures & Options Market (VİOP) trading platforms has been completed. Following the merger, the system operates flawlessly, and there have been no problems affecting the members’ access to the system or operation of the system.

Data pertaining to VİOP’s first trading day are as follows:

Daily Traded Value: TRY 640,555,480.61

Traded Volume (Number of Contracts): 86,419

Total Number of Orders: 23,024

Merger of TURKDEX and VİOP trading platforms under the roof of VİOP was realized yesterday (August 5, 2013), following which, all futures and options contracts in Turkey started trading on the single platform of VİOP.
