A seminar on the Derivatives Market was held jointly by Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) and Tekstil Yatırım Menkul Değerler (Tekstil Investment Securities) at the Turkish Capital Markets Association on October 22, 2014. Financial sector professionals and individual investors participated in the seminar. In his speech, Borsa İstanbul Financial Derivatives Market Group Manager Muammer Çakır told the audience about the improvement that Borsa İstanbul has registered in derivative products and the importance of futures and options for risk management. 

Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market (VIOP) and Tekstil Yatırım Menkul Değerler jointly held a seminar on the derivative products traded on Borsa İstanbul, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. The seminar was held at the Turkish Capital Markets Association’s Training Hall, and attracted financial sector professionals and individual investors.

The seminar was opened by Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market Group Manager Muammer Çakır. At the seminar, Atakan YÜKSEL from Tekstil Yatırım Menkul Değerler gave a detailed account of the operation and use of derivative contracts. Bayram Veli SALUR from Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market informed the audience about the principles of operation of option contracts on Borsa İstanbul Derivatives Market.
