This traded volume is the third highest level on US$/Ounce basis. Furthermore, the traded volume in silver on November 4 reached its highest 7^th level.

The traded volume in Borsa İstanbul Precious Metals and Diamond Markets reached US$ 8.5 tons in 2000, and it has not been possible to reach such levels since then. In April 2013, the 6^th highest traded volume of 8.5 tons was realized.

The 7.85 tons of traded volume is partly attributable to the sudden decrease in gold prices as a result of the developments in the world economy, particularly the US economy.

The traded volume of silver, on the other hand, was realized at 8 tons 667 kg on November 4, reaching the 7^th highest level.
