Having already signed data dissemination agreements with the Sarajevo and Montenegro Exchanges, Borsa İstanbul signed a data dissemination agreement with Karachi Exchange in Pakistan on April 21, 2015. Including this last one, the number of data dissemination agreements that Borsa İstanbul has signed with foreign exchanges has reached three within the scope of Euroasia Data Dissemination Network (EDDN) project. Borsa İstanbul continues its efforts to sign new agreements with the exchanges of the region.

During the visit of Borsa İstanbul team to Pakistan, special attention was given to issues including the dissemination of Karachi Stock Exchange data via Borsa İstanbul, cross-listing, trading of indices on both markets, and Borsa İstanbul Private Market. The parties signed an agreement for the dissemination of Karachi Stock Exchange data by Borsa İstanbul. Within this framework, Borsa İstanbul will offer all market data required to trade on Karachi Stock Exchange to all investors worldwide simultaneously. Once the technical studies are completed, Karachi Exchange data will start being disseminated by Borsa İstanbul’s authorized data vendors.
