PC İletişim ve Medya Hizmetleri Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş listed in Borsa İstanbul with the Opening Bell Ceremony held on December 1, 2021.

Borsa İstanbul’s Opening Bell rang for PC İletişim ve Medya Hizmetleri Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. Shares offered to public started to be traded in the BIST MAIN with the ticker code “PCILT”.

Korkmaz Ergun: “PC İletişim launched a successful IPO, reaching a total of 109 million TL and 178 thousand investors.”

In his address at the Opening Bell Ceremony, Korkmaz Ergun, the CEO of Borsa İstanbul A.Ş., stated the following:

“Distinguished guests,

Today, I welcome you all to your home, to the Opening Bell Ceremony hosted by our Exchange as we celebrate the listing of  PC İletişim ve Medya Hizmetleri Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. at our Exchange.

As the pandemic brought about changes in social life and working life, media planning and especially digital performance have become quite significant. PC İletişim has been successfully operating in this field both at home and abroad. It significantly contributes to the promotion of our country with achievements in the international arena.

As Borsa İstanbul, we have recently boosted our initiatives in the international arena. In this sense, we aim to intensify our corporate communication with foreign investors who have the potential to come to Borsa İstanbul. Within this framework, we take part on the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Exchanges. Moreover, our colleagues served in all sub-committees of the WFE. They work together with other Exchanges in these sub-committees.

Along the same lines, we carry out the general secretariat of the Exchanges Forum within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. We carry out joint projects together with Islamic countries. Furthermore, we hold one-to-one meetings with other exchanges in the international arena. We conduct joint projects and collaborations.

Alternatively, we keep in touch with domestic and foreign intermediary institutions through which international investors make transactions. We meet with international investors. In doing this, we utilize digital media services and produce written and visual content as well in order to promote our capital markets more effectively.
